As day sets in these my mountains
so does night rise...
to the west Great Divide is
a majestic silhouette aglow in light...
her spine crowned with a fiery purple haze
radiating...no...pulsating...
into the great unknown...
the magnetic beauty of this moment
compels me to stop moving
and absorb the gift before me...
sun's parting offering to moon...
who seems only half herself
this time around....
